Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p (/ni̘t/ /j̼i̘p/ [chaos] [extreme; intense; radical]) is a subtropical Town located in the Sterfíhkāríhsha Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p was founded by Dyeshe Wales Beynon Naegle Medwin Iwan, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p was founded durring the late 11th century, by Dyeshe Wales Beynon Naegle Medwin Iwan. The establishment of Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Dyeshe Wales Beynon Naegle Medwin Iwan struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p as a prison colony.

Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow split-log ties streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. The boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It’s a quiet town filled with closed scriptoriums, people quietly yet dejectedly reading in isolated places around town, and the occasional book laying in a heap of garbage.

Cultural Notes

Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

In Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p hail is always enormous, yet harmlessly plinks off people, creatures, and structures.

The Bat Swarm, Underworld near Odíhg Ni̊ty̼i̊p are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
